The Framekeeper Project

Photography as resistance. Memory as truth.

Preserving Visual Heritage

Archiving

We seek out vulnerable historical images—those at risk of being lost or censored—and archive them for public access and long-term memory.

Restoring

Using careful restoration techniques, we bring life back to damaged or fading photographs while preserving their original integrity.

Protecting Truths

Every story is sacred. We organize, tag, and store photos and documents to ensure that cultural memory endures without distortion or disappearance.

Every photo holds a story.
Every story holds a thread of identity, belonging, and truth.
Framekeeper exists to honor what others have tried to forget.

Images challenge systems.
They reclaim voice.
Through this archive, we illuminate what history tried to erase.

The Framekeeper Project is a digital archive dedicated to preserving historical photographs and narratives at risk of censorship, erasure, or neglect. We protect memory through imagery—especially stories that dominant history has overlooked or tried to silence.

You can contribute by submitting photographs, documents, or personal stories that carry historical or cultural significance. Whether they’re family heirlooms or public domain finds, we welcome materials that deserve to be remembered.

We accept high-resolution scans or photographs of:
• Archival images
• Cultural artifacts
• Personal stories with historical relevance
• Public domain or open-license documents
• Photos of erased communities or movements
Everything is reviewed for historical integrity and context before inclusion.

Yes. We respect the privacy and emotional weight of every submission. You may remain anonymous, use a pseudonym, or be fully credited—your choice.

To resist erasure.
To protect cultural truths.
To ensure that memory remains accessible—because photography is resistance, and memory is truth.

We are in the early stages of nonprofit formation. Our goal is to build a sustainable archive rooted in integrity, accessibility, and cultural respect.

History fades when we don’t protect it.
